I am an artist based in Lancashire who enjoys a wide variety of different crafts. I love nature and animals, especially my lovely dog, three cats and our small flock of sheep!
I have had great pleasure creating my second Christian calendar using water colour paints, my love of which was inspired by my late Grandma, whom I used to go to weekly painting classes with as a child. She was an amazing lady who always saw the sunny side of life. With her as inspiration I have enjoyed selecting hymns for each month and creating images that depict the changing of the seasons.
As my calendar is based on favourite hymns this year I have decided to support Annie Mawson’s Sunbeams Music Trust. The charity is based in Cumbria and “help disadvantaged individuals improve their quality of life and self-esteem through the creative freedom of music”. (Charity number: 1117159)
